      The school was located beside the current Baptist Community Church (Eldon Road, north of four corners.) It was built in 1913 and destroyed by fire in 1928.

      Built 1913, originally as a two room school, but due to high attendance an extra room was added. Described as “a modern school, with new equipment and an excellent library.”

      Destroyed by fire in March 1928, at a cost of $13,000. Cause of fire unknown. Newspaper clipping revealed that an individual ran into the building and brought out 1500 rounds of ammunition and rifles used by the cadets at the school.

      “This Cadet Officer Training Corps [C.O.T.C.] all ended abruptly with Armistice Day, and there were parades up and down Yonge Street.” George C.R. Hall’s words.

      Following his internship in Hamilton, Dr. George C.R. Hall interned in the Lying-In Hospital, New York City, from January 1925 to June 1925.
