      Spoony Bridge was also called Spoonery Bridge and Ravine Bridge. It was on the west side of Grimsby Park.

      Grimsby Park was advertised in many programs as a safe place for children to play unattended.

      Lake View Hotel was located at the end of Betts Avenue, with a view of the lake. It burned to the ground in 1918. Note the fire escape ladders extending from the third floor to the second floor.
