      Handknit balaclava made from green wool. It is 43.5 cm long, 19 cm at its widest, and has an eye opening that is 12 cm wide. Balaclavas provided facial protection from the cold.

      Metal helmet that is 31 cm wide with black insert.

      Gas mask is made of brown canvas. It is rubber on the inside and has elastic straps to go around the soldier's head. It measures 53 cm in length. Its eye glass is 7 cm wide and the metal respirator insert is also 7 cm wide.
