 Georgetown Herald (Georgetown, ON), 17 Dec 1913, p. 3     Georgetown Foundry Company was founded in September 1912 by Messrs. C. Young, E. Seifreid and R. McCuaig. They purchased the ruins of a knitting factory destroyed by fire several years before and had it rebuilt. It was near the railway station.
