      Harvey Allen purchased the farm in 1958 from Charles W. Hayes and his wife (formerly Eva Tulloch) and he made changes such as installing a new oil furnace in the house, rebuilding the barn walls, building a double garage and planting pines on part of the property.

      This is a black and white photo of a small white sided bungalow. The house has dark trim and striped metal awnings over some of the windows. A garage can be seen to the left rear side and the photo was taken in winter.

      Note: Parkinson is located to the north east of Iron Bridge and south of Kynoch.

      This summer photos is identified as the home of Bill and Iva Reid. It is a one story home with pale green siding and a concrete block foundation. There are small shrubs around the home and well tended gardens.

      This black and white photo shows a two story wood frame construction home that has been abandoned. It is located alongside Highway 17 near Iron Bridge.

      This winter photo shows a small bungalow set in a heavily wooded area. To the rear of the house stacks of concrete blocks can be seen stacked on pallets. The house has a small covered overhang on the left side where construction debris has been piled.
