      Two Nurses' Residences were officially opened by Mrs. W.j. Hanna on August 15, 1923. They were called the "Lena Davis Home" and the "Naomi Barker Home" after two nurses who died during the First World War. They served as Nurses' Residences until the new residence was opened in 1963.

      The Barn was built in 1919 for the Ontario Hospital at the south-east corner of Base Line and Farm Road. It was one of the largest barns in the province. It was destroyed by fire on November 4, 1976.

      These buildings were constructed in 1917 or 1918 at the end of the hospital complex. The west building was demolished around 1961 and the east annex was demolished in 1970.

      The recreation hall was built specially for the military forces at the hospital during the First World War. This picture was taken before stucco facing was put on the building.
