      One of the most important actions George C.R. Hall took as Grand Master, was to write to the Canadian Prime Minister to officially protest the inhuman treatment of the Jewish people in Nazi Germany, and to request the Canadian government bring these refugees to Canada.

      Photography was also a hobby of Dr. George Wesley Hall. Today there are 1000s of pictures from the Dr. George Wesley era. Many of these pictures are on glass slides. The fact that he had x-ray equipment helped in developing the pictures.

      Dr. and Mrs. George Wesley Hall enjoyed travelling. They travelled extensively to Europe in 1927, and throughout Canada and the U.S.

      Mrs. G.W. Hall knew that the vote for women could not be won by isolated individuals. She pulled supporters together through various societies such as the Woman's Christian Temperance Union.
