      Mrs. Cameron researched and authored a book giving a factual account of the history of the area that was published on May 9, 1993 called Pioneers in a Land of Promise, copies of which can be found in all local libraries.

      Isaac Nicholson surveyed the Iron Bridge area in 1877 and returned to the area in 1880. Edith Cameron's picture and phone number along with the header "Dayton" are found at the top of this column.
