      Series of postcards depicting various landmarks in Cobourg. Date unknown but a hand written note (language unknown) on the back of one of the postcards date it to Sept. 21 1934. Name and location on the front of folder: Meropy Hooper(?), London Ontario.

      Reverse: "I suppose you have your papers from lawyer McBride by this time. He was here and asked all your addresses. Katy."

      Reverse: "Dear Mary, We are not coming out next Sunday as some don't want to. Papa not well yet. Love to all. Sister Clara"

      Front: "This is a little photo I took in our back yard. I took twelve more to-day. All different kinds." Reverse: "Dear Nelda, Why don't you write just rec your letter and paid two cents on it. Cheap Gary what you are. Clara"

      Photo of John Hillgartner Sr. and his wife, Mary Reiber. The "Sr." was added to John's name after his father died. Their marriage date is unknown, but their first child was born in 1865.
