      Wilfrid Bitzer was very involved in Kitchener-Waterloo tennis. In 1935, he represented the K-W Granite Club on the Twin City Tennis Association committee and went on to lead other local tournaments.

      Florabell is in her winter clothes, in front of a building in Niagara Falls New York. Arnold Anderson's daughter. He was not married to Florabell's mother, a woman from the Tuscarora Reservation. She probably took her mother's maiden name.

      The Paris Museum and Historical Society has business records, which include local newspapers of Maher advertisements dated to 1939. Therefore we know the business was operating at the beginning of the Second World War, although it is unknown when it first opened.
