      This station on the Port Whitby and Port Perry Railway was located at 93 Winchester Road East at the south west corner of Winchester Road and Anderson Streets. It was built in 1895 and destroyed by fire on April 19, 1937.

      These gates stood at the entrance to the Ontario Ladies' College grounds for many years until they were replaced by the Memorial Gates to Dr. and Mrs. Hare in 1924. Ontario Ladies' College is now known as Trafalgar Castle School, and is located at 401 Reynolds Street.

      In the early 1930s the top layer was removed and the bottom moved to the beach to be used as a gazebo.In 1934 the present-day bandshell was constructed.

      File Number: 02/pt4/10-1.6 The Welland House Hotel was built in 1853 as a natural springs spa. The baths fell into disuse by 1909. It remained a hotel for many years until it closed in 1993. The building was sold and converted into student residences in 1994.
