      St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church was built as the Church of Scotland in 1859 at 508 Byron Street South. It served as a Presbyterian church until 1968 when a new church on Cochrane Street was opened.

      James Tinwell Thompson, sexton of All Saints' Anglican Church, died on January 10, 1884 at Whitby, and was buried on January 12, 1884 in St. John's Anglican Cemetery. This gravestone disappeared before 1971 and the grave is now unmarked.
