      The Brooklin Memorial Arena was built between 1948-1949. It was demolished in October 1972 after it could no longer meet the provincial arena building standards. It was replaced in 1972/73 with Luther Vipond Memorial Arena.

 The Oshawa Times, Oshawa Times, May 1970     St. Thomas' Anglican Church was built in 1869 and designed by Toronto Architect Henry Langley. Additions were made to the church in 1986/87 and 2008/09. This picture shows the original church at the time it celebrated its Centennial in May 1970.

      This building was built by the Ontario Water Resources Commission in 1962 and demolished before 2009. It was located west of Way St. adjacent to Lynde Creek in Brooklin.

      The Brooklin water tower was built near the Meadowcrest Public School by the Ontario Water Resources Commission in 1962 and replaced an earlier water tank built around 1955. The newer tank was replaced by the Duff's Rd. reservoir and demolished in June 2009.

      This building was built in 1855 on Winchester Road to be used as a Wesleyan Methodist Church. It was moved to Baldwin Street after 1867.

      St. Thomas Anglican Church was located at 101 Winchester Road East. It was built in 1869 at the south east corner of Winchester Road and Anderson Street (now St. Thomas Street).
