      The City made a second appeal to the public for donations of personal protective equipment supplies for the Kawartha Lakes Paramedics Service.

      The City raised its curbside bag limit to 3 bags while landfills remain closed to public access, effective April 6.

      The City put out a hiring call recruiting positions for the delivery of essential services. Positions included Advanced Care Paramedics, Heavy Equipment Operators, Utility Maintenance Operators, Road Crew Leaders and Truck and Coach Technicians.

      Lindsay Transit opened an "On-Demand" temporary service for conventional riders beginning Sunday, May 3, 2020. This level of service was offered to assist with essential travel, including travel for work, grocery, pharmacy and medical appointments. The "On-Demand" booking was open to residents, with a priority for essential/front-line workers.

      The Community Paramedic, Kawartha Lakes Paramedic Services, tested people at home that were unable to get transportation to the assessment centre or had mobility issues making them unable to leave home.
