      The couple is Oliver and Jean Clouthier. Oliver was showing Jean what it meant to be Canadian. Oliver and Jean were married in Scotland in 1943. Jean Clouthier (nee Armstrong) came to Canada by ship with many other war brides in 1946. She landed at Halifax's Pier 21.
