      Lina and her sister Rebecca were both born in Halton County, Ontario. They were the daughters of John Dixon 1836 – 1901 and Matilda Ford 1837 – 1908.

      The red brick Omagh school was built in 1876 and demolished in about 1968.

      The brick from the school is now the facade of the new building in the same location, likewise the school cornerstone, which was sold by previous owners Doug and Betty Ann LeRich in November, 2005.
