      Worn by A.C. MacMillan during WWI. To be worn at all times under the clothes. In the event of a soldier's death, the red tag would be removed for administrative purposes while the green tags would be left on the body for identification.

      Farm Service Corps lapel badge (centre) was handed out to Ontario farmers who replaced men overseas. A.C. was originally assigned to the 248th battalion (sides). He was later assigned to the 3rd Canadian Division of the 58th Overseas Infantry Battalion (top).

      Belonged to Lavinia (Ferris) Wiley who was born in 1868 in Kimberly. She married Samuel Wiley (Mountain Sam) and they lived on the farm on top of Talisman Mountain. Lavinia is the grandmother of Elva (Wiley) Phillips and Helen (Wiley) Turner of Flesherton.

      Pte. Fred Smith of Eugenia Falls, Ontario was a member of the 15th Canadian Battalion. He died a prisoner of war in 1918 and was buried near Neuchatel, Switzerland.
