      These were the Headquarters buildings of the Royal Air Corp. They were located on the Beamsville bench, south of the Regional Rd. 81 (old Highway 8) and west of Quarry Rd.

      Biplane number C202 crashed nose first into the roof of an unidentified building.

      This was towed offshore on Lake Ontario and used by pilots for gunnery practice. We don't know whether they used live ammunition on this target or just their photo-gun.

      This is the 40 yard range. Located one third mile south east of main flying field. As of 1982, the concrete wall was still visible.

      Pilots practice gunnery using cameras shaped as machine guns. The film would be developed and the pictures analysed for accuracy of the shot.

      The barracks for the enlisted men was not ready for use until October 1918.

      There were nine hangars in total in 3 groups of 3. We don't know which set of 3 this group is.

      The barracks for enlisted men were not ready until October 1918, so the men lived in tents from April until October.
