      This very old map (1947-48) from the Bush Fire Brigade shows the Improvement District of Terrace Bay. The Municipality of Schreiber is also on this map, along with the Slate Islands.

      This copy of the Wilmot survey map of Trafalgar Township was photographed from a wonderful display copy. It looks like Mr. Wilmot signed his name, "Sam L. Wilmot", but it is actually "Sam S. Wilmot".

      This is a black and white photo of a picnic table area under the trees at Bronte Beach Park. Ladies, gentlemen and children are sitting and conversing at the tables. Although the postcard is addressed, it has no stamp and was not mailed.

      This black and white photographs shows people sitting on the beach and wading, in the bathing suit styles of the 1930`s to 1940`s. The photograph is somewhat blurred so some of the figures and clothing lines have been outlined by hand to give them more focus.

      D. Bolus and Sons owned the Top Hat Inn which was located on the Lake Shore Highway between Bronte and Burlington, Ontario.
