      Margaret Hume (1860-1946). She married George Currie (1857- 1918) in 1883 and they farmed Lot 6, Con. 7, Esquesing.

      A view of Ashgrove School, SS#3 Esquesing from the north-west corner. The red brick school was built in 1870 and served until 1959, when students moved to Stewarttown. The building is privately owned today.

      A basement was put under the church in about 1925. When Hillcrest United Church was formed it was sold and moved to Limehouse where it is now a private residence.

      William George Wilson (1860-1939)'s son was Melford Guy (1895-1989), and his brother, Henry Wilson (1863-1947), had a son, John Guy (born 1897-1986). John Guy served in WW1. William George and Henry had a brother named Thomas Guy (1870-1894). They likely both named their sons after their brother who had died …

      Ashgrove Schoolhouse, SS#3, Esquesing on Trafalgar Road, south of 10 Sideroad.

      Ashgrove Public School (SS#3) built 1870 and closed in 1959. It is now a garage.

      Methodist Church on Trafalgar Road. It was built in 1860 and was closed in 1969. The building was later moved to Limehouse.

      Alexander Ashenhurst (1819-1909) came to Esquesing Lot 11, Con. 7 about 1873 with his wife Isabella and family.
