      The postcard says that the restaurant accepts "Chargex" which was an early form of the Visa credit card. The Chargex card was changed to Visa in the late 1970s, which gives the postcard an approximate date.

      The building served as the town hall until 1985 at which time town administration was moved to the renovated Court House/Jail building in Victoria Square. This building now houses offices.
