 Quinte West Public Library, The Trentonian, Trenton, May 1971     James Rayner presented trophies to the three intermediate winners (Luc Magne,Paul Lunt and Reginald Unger) of the annual Soap Box run held on Victoria Day in 1971.

 Quinte West Public Library, The Trentonian, Trenton, 1971     John McLaughlin recieved the Best Soap Box Trophy during the annual Soap Box Derby. James Rayner presented the trophy to John McLaughlin.

      Janice Scott won the Powder Puff Derby and Luc Magne won the annual Soap Box Derby that was held by the Kinsmen Club.
