 Georgetown Herald (Georgetown, ON), August 1968     Charred metal bars and a piece of metal sheeting are all that remain of the grandstand after a fire on Friday 2 August 1968. The grandstand had been built in 1944 to replace the previous one, also destroyed by fire.
