Following Edith’s death at age eight, the Hall’s adopted a girl named Mabel. However, she died in 1919 at age 23 years. Great granddaughter and compiler Marylou Hall was unable to find pictures of Mabel, but it was stated that the Halls “raised her like a daughter."
