      Kingston, September 17. -- The schooner T. R. MERRITT which went ashore nine miles above Oswego, is a total wreck. She is owned by Mckay of Hamilton, and was valued at $5,000. There will be about $1,000 salvage.

      Of the two schooners stranded at and near Oswego, the ALBACORE is sure to be released. The hull of the T. R. MERRITT is punctured, the deck is badly sprung, indicating that the vessel's back may be broken. There is no insurance on either of the schooners.
